is there any way other than having a dentist root around in your mouth to get rid of cavities???

The only way to get rid of cavities is to have the decay removed by a dentist and fillings placed





If you don't, the decay could work it's way into the nerve of your tooth, or pulp, and you could get an abscess. Then it's antibiotics for 7-10 days while you decide if you should have a root canal treatment performed or have the tooth/teeth extracted...
