I think i might have gotten my first cavities!!!!?

ok well i was looking at my teeth in the mirror today (cause i noticed my wisdom teeth were coming in) and i noticed two brownish spots on my two back molars (both sides) even though i have had those molars sealed probably about two years ago, can they be cavities? it doesn't hurt or anything and i don't think its food cause i brushed my teeth and they were still there. also does it hurt to get cavities filled? on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most) how painful is it. i'm 15 and i've never had a cavity so i'm really nervous.

I think i might have gotten my first cavities!!!!?
Ok, Just today, i had a cavity filled and a tooth numbed up. Here is my story

The cavity looked very unoticable, it was just a small dot, being that cavities are just a small hole in your teeth. I went in to get it fixed being extremely worried, but turns out, it was fine! As for a scale of 1-10 I would say that the pain is a 0. Actually, You do not feel anything! The worst part about getting it filled for me was the shot, but that only laster for about 15 seconds. You may feel a little pressure, but no pain at all. It is soooooooo easy. And i had a tooth pulled out and i had a cavity filled. It's easy. A cavity filled will be easy if you need to have it done, but, i'm not sure you completely have a cavity, brown spots don't sound like what mine looked like. Maybe you should just hop into the dentist so he can look at them, if he does, he will not work on them right away, he will schedule you for whenever is convinient for you. Summing up, it's not painful at all. DO NOT BE NERVOUS!!!!!!!!! Total the thing should take about 20 minutes tops! It will be soooooooooooooooooooo nothing. It doesn't hurt at all.

GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER,

IT IS NOOOOOOOO BIG DEAL TO GET A CAVITY FILLED.

GOOD LUCK!
Reply:It could be a cavity, could be just staining. You will have to go to the dentist to find out. Sealants don't always stay on %26amp; if they do they only protect the deep grooves. Cavities don't always hurt......if they do then it may be too late for just a filling %26amp; usually requires a root canal. To just get a tooth filled is not painfull at all. The anesthesia can be slightly uncomfortable for a minute or two, but that's it. If you do feel anthing be sure to tell your dentist. You may be a good candidate for nitrous oxcide aka..happy gas =). Also, It may be helpful if you can take one of your favorite cd's to listen too when the dentist is doing the filling. Good luck!
