A question about cavities and brushing??

Allright well let me start by saying i am a terrible brusher... i only brush about two-three times a week and its embarassing and i've been trying to fix it... also i never floss... but the thing that i dont understand is, that last time i went to the dentist i did not have a single cavity... how is that possible, can someone explain? i mean yes i do get my teeth cleaned every six months but no cavities?? i mean im thankful but i dnt get it... oh and my dentist sas i constantly have alot of saliva in my mouth if that helps... thnx

A question about cavities and brushing??
well, i think it has to do with you producing extra saliva...b/c saliva has enzymes in it which breakdown food particles...so your saliva is helping to cut down on the amount of food particles left in your mouth between brushings
Reply:You probably just have naturally good teeth that aren't as sensitive to plaque or bacteria.
Reply:yah, mee too. i only have one. im kinda weird. ill like brush my teeth three time a night then rinse....;s maybe its cuz you dont eat candy and junk all the time!
