Dentist fixed cavities , but i noticed pain, hot and cold foods?

I felt with my finger along the side of my teeth where it hurts, I can feel small hairline cracks in the tooth with my nail ?





Is this caused by dentist drilling , fixing cavities, toke too much tooth out, sides got weak and broke ? How would i know ?





What does a dentist have to do to fix hairline cracks that cause me Hot or Cold pain sensations ?

Buy toothpaste that is made for sensitive teeth. This will help with the hot and cold sensations. Fillings usually are not perfectly smooth so you will feel some indentions. The pain should go away in a few weeks. Good Luck!!!
Reply:MY FILLINGS ARE WHAT CAUSES MY SENSITIVITY TO HOT %26amp; COLD. THEY ARE THE METAL FILLINGS. IF YOU HAVE THE METAL ONES, I BET THATS YOUR CAUSE.
Reply:Had the same problem a few months ago, it seemed to resolve itself in a few weeks, no problems since that was over six months ago now and all is fine. I put off going to the dentist since I knew he had just fixed everything and was glad I waited.
Reply:Don't worry, that's just the side effects for the cavities. After awhile it will go away.
